MIT Spectrum: Unlocking AI’s Mysteries Using Insights from Brain Research
I was profiled in the Spring 2026 issue of MIT Spectrum, the research magazine from MIT’s Office of Resource Development. The piece covers my doctoral research at the McGovern Institute — using machine learning to simulate the nervous systems of model organisms like C. elegans and zebrafish — and how biological insights from these systems can help us decode the inner workings of artificial intelligence.
